Mr. Oladipo E. Johnson
Technical Adviser to the Executive Director
Mr. Oladipo Edmond Johnson works as the Technical Adviser to the Executive Director within the CoDA Secretariat. He is responsible for supporting the Executive Director and the Secretariat in the implementation of all programmatic activities as approved by the Board. Mr. Johnson also manages publicity and advocacy for CoDA. He is responsible for the development and implementation of CODA communications strategies which galvanize the work of the secretariat and provide support to the advocacy of its activities. His other tasks include supporting and when necessary, leading the planning and execution of CODA activities. As part of his work within the United Nations system for the past six years, he has served as Senior Programme Management Officer for the Secretariat of the High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa which is hosted by CoDA. Prior to this, he worked as a Policy and Advocacy Officer in the Capacity Development Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and as a Communications Officer at the African Union Commission (AUC) before that. Before joining intergovernmental institutions, Mr. Johnson worked within the private sector in the United Kingdom where he obtained a Masters in International Management and Organisational Communications and is a Practicing Prince 2 Project Manager.
